FOMS - What do we do?
What does FOMS mean to our school?
From the children:
“We love playing table tennis!”
‘I really liked the colour run because it was fun, because people were throwing powder at you, it was like playing a game, and I like running’
‘I love the adventure playground because there are my favourite things in it’ ‘I really loved doing the book sale because I loved looking at all of the books and buying some’
‘I love the adventure playground, it’s really fun, and there are loads of different things to do on it’
How is FOMS organised?
As a charity, we have an elected Committee of Friends - usually parents and teachers - who are appointed annually at our AGM. Each year group in the school also has two Class Representatives, who serve as a key link between the class, parents, and the committee. Their support is vital at events, from selling tickets and organising rotas of help to running stalls.
