At Medstead, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. To enrich our curriculum and enhance our children's educational experience, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities that provide opportunities for pupils to develop new skills, explore their interests, and build confidence in a supportive environment. These activities complement classroom learning, broaden children's experiences, and encourage them to establish friendships that extend beyond their year and class groups.

Our clubs take place at both lunchtime and after school. Some activities are provided free of charge, while others require a reasonable fee payable directly to the provider.

We also offer after-school care until 6:00pm Monday to Thursday and 5:15pm on Fridays. Please visit our Childcare page for further details.

All of our club providers are either members of school staff or DBS-checked, registered childcare professionals and coaching organisations. We work closely with our providers to ensure that activities are inclusive and that the individual needs of our children are understood and supported.

Our varied programme of clubs reflects our commitment to providing a rich, well-rounded education. Whether through sport, the arts, technology, outdoor learning or creative pursuits, every activity offers children valuable opportunities to discover new talents, develop resilience, strengthen teamwork skills and foster a lifelong love of learning.
