Medstead Primary provided not just the required education to start secondary school, but went above and beyond! It presented me with opportunities, both academic and social on which to base a life  whichever direction I choose.

One of my favourite sporting memories at Medstead was winning a touch rugby tournament! Since then I have been part of the London Irish Player Development Pathway and the Ultimate Rugby Sevens Academy.

There was always a friendly and supportive atmosphere at Medstead, both in and out of the classroom and on our fantastic school trips! This made me want to learn and also developed my teamwork skills. As a team leader it was easier to settle into secondary school and make new friends. I am currently a student ambassador for my year groups and play in two school orchestras.

Medstead school provided me with  support and guidance in all areas of the curriculum. This meant that I had the skills and mindset needed to excel in secondary school both academically and in a variety of extra-curricular activities. The opportunities and support I was given at Medstead gave me the motivation to start playing the piano and violin, both of which I took to a higher level and played in several orchestras.
