Friends Of Medstead School (FOMS)

 All parents, carers and teachers of children at Medstead (CofE) Primary School are automatically members of FOMS. An elected committee coordinates regular meetings to provide social events and activities for Medstead Schools' children, parents, teachers, and families. Annual events aim to be fun and also raise funds for specific projects. These projects are identified by the children, staff, and headteacher to enhance the children’s learning experience at Medstead School. FOMS relies on families volunteering their time to coordinate and run social occasions throughout the school year. These range from cake sales to major events like the Summer Sausage Sizzle and the Christmas Fayre. In recent years, FOMS has fundraised for new interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, two new adventure playgrounds and a bank of laptops for the children to use in school. In the 2025/2026 school year, FOMS will fundraise to develop exciting reading opportunities across the school.

Every little helps, but your involvement is what makes it all possible.

FOMS relies on volunteers. The more people who get involved, the more we can achieve and the more fun we have. This benefits everyone in our school community.
