Home learning:

Spelling:

Please try to have a go at remembering the Year 1 common exception words (attached in lists below) and start to learn some of the words on the Year 2 list. We play games to remember these and check these in class, but practising at home, would really help too.

Maths:

Please practise the number bonds to ten and associated subtraction facts. It really helps if children can memorise these and have them 'at their finger tips'.  Thank you

Reading:

Please try and read your school reading book, at least 4 times during the week, and write what you have read in your reading record. Please can the children bring these in everyday. 

Home learning grid: The home learning grid is optional but helps to embed our learning within the classroom. Children can bring in their home learning anytime.  We love to show each other our efforts and talk about what we have learned whilst completing it.
