Spellings

Please try to have a go at remembering the Year 1 common exception words (attached in lists below) and start to learn some of the words on the Year 2 list. We play games to remember these and check these in class, but practising at home would really help too.

Maths

Please practise counting forwards and backwards, from zero, in 2s, 5s and 10s. As an extra challenge - can you count on in tens from any starting number?

There are some games below, to print off, or you can  go on Mathletics. New log-ins have been put inside the cover of the reading diaries. Have fun!

Reading

Please try and read your school reading book, at least 4 times during the week, and write what you have read in your reading record. Please can the children bring these in everyday. 

Home learning grid

The home learning grid is optional but helps to embed our learning within the classroom. Children can bring in their home learning anytime.  We love to show each other our efforts and talk about what we have learned whilst completing it.
