Hi Larch Class
Here is your science learning for this week. We are going to be planting cress seeds!
You will need a pot, some soil or compost and some cress seeds. We have got plenty at school so please let me know if you need any resources.
Please upload a photo of your learning to Tapestry.

1. What is cress? Cress is a small green vegetable which is often eaten in salads. It tastes great in egg sandwiches too!
Cress grows really quickly. Your seeds will start to germinate (grow) within the first day and you should have cress after just 1 week.
2. Watch this clip which shows how cress seeds begin to germinate (grow). Pause the video and talk about the changes.
3. Like all plants, cress needs water and light to grow. Follow these instructions to plant your cress seeds:
4. Complete the cress diary over the next few days.
If you can't print the photographs you can upload them to Tapestry.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
