Welcome to Beech Class home learning page.

Home learning is set every week on a Friday, unless otherwise stated here. We will be assigning some longer tasks through the year, which may take more than a week. All tasks are designed to support the learning that takes place in the classroom.

Tasks are looked at and rewarded either by a house point being given, a comment from the teacher, being celebrated and shared in class or displayed on the wall! We encourage all children to complete their home learning and take pride in what they produce.

In Year 5, home learning is an important step to independently completing homework in the future, as secondary schools set work for each curriculum area. We want the children to develop positive study skills which will help prepare them.

We try to make challenges and tasks fun, varied and appropriate to the curriculum. We really enjoy seeing what you produce but understand that life is busy sometimes. If you cannot complete home learning, please let us know so we don't keep chasing for it! Please see the most recent PDF for the current learning.
