Young governors are elected from each class, a boy and a girl, and they attend meetings with Mr Waine, teachers and other bodies in the school community to discuss a variety of issues that have been put forward by classmates.

Recently we have:

• Sampled pupil attitudes to the curriculum and fed this back to the school curriculum team.

• Decided which charities the school should support, at a local level, nationally and internationally.

• Worked on the new house names.
